Marbella from Malaga Costa del Sol Airport (AGP) by private transfer: €100 per car (1–3 people) or €140 per van (4–8), fixed per vehicle and identical to the checkout price. On the road it is 52 km via AP-7 and A-7, roughly 40 min when traffic is light and 40–55 min when it is not.
Meeting point: The driver waits in the arrivals hall of Terminal 3, after baggage reclaim and the customs exit, with a sign showing your name. Flight tracking is included, the first hour after landing is free waiting time, and the driver carries your bags to the car.
Marbella is the best-known resort of the Costa del Sol, about 55 km south-west of the airport, with the old town (Casco Antiguo) around Plaza de los Naranjos, Puerto Banús and the Golden Mile. The usual route is the AP-7 toll motorway or the free A-7 coast road. The A-7 gets congested in summer and on Friday and Sunday evenings. The old town is largely pedestrian, so the car stops at the edge.
Marbella has three distinct areas. The old town (Casco Antiguo) is a small whitewashed quarter around the Plaza de los Naranjos, a few minutes from the beach promenade and the Alameda park. West of town, the Golden Mile runs along the coast road towards Puerto Banús, with its marina, luxury boutiques and beach clubs. Further east are Elviria and Cabopino, with a long dune beach. The area is busiest between May and September, and Easter week and the summer weekends are especially crowded.
