A private transfer from Strasbourg Entzheim Airport (SXB) to Strasbourg city centre costs €50 per car for 1–3 passengers and €65 per van for 4–8. It is a fixed price for the whole vehicle, the same amount you pay when you book. The road distance is 15 km via M 35; the drive takes about 20 min with clear roads, so plan on 20–30 min at busy times.

Strasbourg is the seat of the European Parliament and the capital of Alsace, with the Grande Île, the Gothic cathedral and the Petite France district. The airport at Entzheim lies about 12 km south-west of the centre, joined by the A35 and the A351. The Grande Île, the island at the heart of the city, is a UNESCO-listed pedestrian and low-traffic area, so the car stops at its edge or at the nearest permitted street. The Christmas market in December draws huge crowds and closes squares.
The Grande Île is bounded by the Ill, and the cathedral, with its single spire of 142 metres, stands in its eastern part beside the Place Kléber, the main square. The Petite France district, with half-timbered tanners' houses on the canals, lies to the west, near the covered bridges and the Barrage Vauban. The German quarter, built after 1871, spreads to the north-east, and the European Parliament is further north-east at Wacken. The main railway station is about a kilometre west of the Grande Île. In December the Christmas market fills the squares.
