Getting from Hammamet Airport (NBE) to Nabeul takes about 55 min by car on an empty road (55–65 min in heavy traffic) over 64 km via A1 and RR28. Our private transfer costs €45 for a car with 1–3 passengers or €65 for a van with 4–8 — the vehicle price you see is the price you pay at booking.
On arrival: The driver waits in the Arrivals Hall of Enfidha-Hammamet Airport, the public area after baggage reclaim and customs where the airport says greeters wait for arriving passengers, holding a sign with your name. If the flight is late, the driver adjusts to the real landing time; 60 minutes of waiting are included and help with the luggage is part of the service.
Nabeul is the administrative capital of the Nabeul governorate and a town known across Tunisia for its pottery and ceramics. The route from the airport uses the A1 motorway for about 40 km, then the regional road RR28 through the northern side of Hammamet, past the hotel zone of Mrezga, before entering Nabeul from the south-west. The distance is about 64 km. The A1 is a toll motorway, and in summer the coastal stretch between Hammamet and Nabeul carries heavy local traffic in the evening.
Nabeul has a compact town centre around its main avenues, with pottery workshops and shops selling ceramics along the streets near the railway station. A large weekly market fills part of the town on Fridays. The remains of the Roman town of Neapolis lie by the sea on the southern side of Nabeul, and the archaeological museum displays mosaics from the site. Hotels are found along the beach east of the centre and towards Dar Chaabane, and cars can reach them by the coastal streets.
Public transport instead: Societe de Transport du Sahel (STS) bus Mahdia - Nabeul regional line via the airport from Enfidha-Hammamet Airport to Nabeul, two daily trips between Mahdia and Nabeul passing through the airport (line launched July 2024); check times with STS.
