Getting from Barcelona El Prat Airport (BCN) to Sitges takes about 30 min by car on an empty road (30–40 min in heavy traffic) over 34 km via C-32. Our private transfer costs €70 for a car with 1–3 passengers or €100 for a van with 4–8 — the vehicle price you see is the price you pay at booking.
On arrival: The driver waits in the arrivals hall of the terminal where your flight lands (T1 or T2), after baggage reclaim and the customs exit, with a sign showing your name. If the flight is late, the driver adjusts to the real landing time; 60 minutes of waiting are included and help with the luggage is part of the service.
Sitges is a seaside town about 35 km south-west of the airport, known for its long beaches, the baroque church on the headland and the October film festival. The drive is short, along the C-32 coastal motorway, which passes through the Garraf tunnels. Weekend traffic builds on the C-32 in summer, and the Sitges Carnival in February and the film festival fill the town. The old quarter near the church has narrow and partly pedestrian streets.
Sitges has a small, walkable centre on a headland. The Church of Sant Bartomeu i Santa Tecla stands on the point above the Platja de Sant Sebastià, and the Passeig de la Ribera, a long seafront promenade, runs east of it. Behind the church the old streets hold white houses, museums such as Cau Ferrat, and restaurants. Hotels lie near the promenade and the station. The October film festival and the February Carnival are the busiest times, and the town is also a leading destination for visitors in the summer.
Public transport instead: Rodalies de Catalunya (Renfe) train R2 Nord + R2 Sud from Aeroport station to Sitges (change at El Prat de Llobregat), every 30 minutes, 1 change. Bus Garraf (Monbus) bus airport - Sitges from Terminal 1 bus stop to Sitges, timetable differs weekdays/weekends. No direct train; change at El Prat de Llobregat from the R2 Nord to an R2 Sud train. A bus from Terminal 1 (Bus Garraf) serves Sitges directly, with a surcharge for airport fares.
