Barcelona El Prat → city centre · about 14 km · about 25 min · fixed price €50 per vehicle.
Price calculated. Change the date or destination if you like.
A private transfer from Barcelona El Prat Airport (BCN) to Barcelona city centre costs €50 per car for 1–3 passengers and €80 per van for 4–8. It is a fixed price for the whole vehicle, the same amount you pay when you book. The road distance is 14 km via C-31; the drive takes about 25 min with clear roads, so plan on 25–35 min at busy times.
Where the driver waits: The driver waits in the arrivals hall of the terminal where your flight lands (T1 or T2), after baggage reclaim and the customs exit, with a sign showing your name. We track your flight and the first 60 minutes after landing are free; the driver helps with your luggage.
El Prat lies about 14 km south-west of the city, and the usual approach is the C-32 or the Ronda Litoral, entering via Gran Via or Avinguda Diagonal. Morning and evening rush hours slow the Ronda Litoral noticeably. The Gothic Quarter and El Born are largely pedestrianised or restricted, and parts of the Eixample have limited-access superblock streets, so the driver stops at the nearest point a vehicle may reach and you walk the last stretch.
Barcelona's centre is made up of distinct districts. The Gothic Quarter and El Born, around the cathedral and Santa Maria del Mar, form the old city, bounded by La Rambla and Via Laietana. Plaça de Catalunya joins the old town to the Eixample, the 19th-century grid with Passeig de Gràcia, Casa Batlló and La Pedrera. The Barceloneta seafront and the Port Vell lie to the south-east. Montjuïc and Plaça d'Espanya are to the south-west. Summer is hot and crowded, and La Mercè festival in late September fills the old town.
Public transport instead: Aerobús bus A1 (T1) / A2 (T2) from Airport T1 and T2 to Plaça de Catalunya — about 35 min, €7.75 single ticket, every 5-10 minutes in the daytime. Rodalies de Catalunya (Renfe) train R2 Nord from Aeroport station (T2) to Barcelona Sants / Passeig de Gràcia, about every 30 minutes.
