Ischgl from Innsbruck Airport (INN) by private transfer: €230 per car (1–3 people) or €280 per van (4–8), fixed per vehicle and identical to the checkout price. On the road it is 97 km via A12 and B188, roughly 1h 15min when traffic is light and 1h 15min – 1h 35min when it is not.
Meeting point: The driver waits in the arrivals hall of the airport terminal, after baggage reclaim, holding a sign with your name. Flight tracking is included, the first hour after landing is free waiting time, and the driver carries your bags to the car.
Ischgl is a ski resort at the end of the Paznaun valley, about 100 km west of the airport. The route follows the A12 Inntal motorway to Landeck, then the S16 Arlberg expressway and the Paznaunerstraße (B188) through See and Kappl, in around 1 hour 30 minutes. The Paznaun road is narrow and winding with avalanche galleries. In winter snow chains may be required, and the valley road can be closed briefly after heavy snowfall.
Ischgl sits at about 1,400 metres, and its ski area connects to Samnaun in Switzerland across the border. The village centre along the main street is largely pedestrian in winter, with lifts such as the Silvretta cable car near the centre. Hotels are concentrated along the main street and the slopes. The car stops at the edge of the car-free centre and the hotel shuttles or the luggage service take over for the last stretch. After-ski bars are busiest in the afternoon, and the summer season is quieter, with hiking.
Public transport: No direct service from the airport; the usual route is via Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof and a train to Landeck-Zams followed by a regional bus up the Paznaun valley to Ischgl.
