Getting from Innsbruck Airport (INN) to St. Anton takes about 1h 5min by car on an empty road (65–80 min in heavy traffic) over 92 km via A12 and S16. Our private transfer costs €220 for a car with 1–3 passengers or €270 for a van with 4–8 — the vehicle price you see is the price you pay at booking.
On arrival: The driver waits in the arrivals hall of the airport terminal, after baggage reclaim, holding a sign with your name. If the flight is late, the driver adjusts to the real landing time; 60 minutes of waiting are included and help with the luggage is part of the service.
St. Anton am Arlberg is a ski resort in the Tyrolean Alps, about 95 km west of the airport. The drive follows the A12 Inntal motorway to Landeck and then the S16 Arlberg expressway through the Arlberg tunnel, in about 1 hour 15 minutes. The Arlberg road tunnel charges a toll. In winter, snowfall and ski-weekend traffic can add time, and snow chains are sometimes required on the approach roads.
The centre of St. Anton is one long main street with hotels, shops and the railway station at its east end, and the Galzig and Gampen lifts leave straight from the village. The pedestrian zone covers the central main street, so the car stops at the edge and the last stretch is walked or covered by the hotel shuttle. St. Christoph and Stuben lie higher up the pass. The summer season is quieter, with hiking and mountain biking.
Public transport instead: ÖBB train Arlbergbahn (REX/RJ) from Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof to St. Anton am Arlberg — about 70–80 min, about hourly, 1 change.
