Malta → Sliema · about 11 km · about 20 min · fixed price €30 per vehicle.

Sliema from Malta Airport (MLA) by private transfer: €30 per car (1–3 people) or €45 per van (4–8), fixed per vehicle and identical to the checkout price. On the road it is 11 km via 1, roughly 20 min when traffic is light and 20–30 min when it is not.
Meeting point: The driver waits in the arrivals hall of the airport's single terminal, after baggage reclaim and the customs exit, with a sign showing your name. Flight tracking is included, the first hour after landing is free waiting time, and the driver carries your bags to the car.
Sliema is the main shopping and seafront town on the north-east coast, about 10 km from the airport, with a long rocky promenade, ferries to Valletta from the Strand and views over Marsamxett Harbour. The ride follows the main road via Msida and Gżira. Traffic on this road is heavy at rush hours and in the evening, and parking is scarce. Many hotels sit on the Tower Road promenade, where the driver can drop off at the hotel door.
Sliema's seafront runs along the Tower Road and Ix-Xatt ta' Qui-Si-Sana promenade, with a rocky shoreline used for swimming rather than sandy beaches. The Strand and the Marsamxett side face Valletta across the water, and the Gżira marina is next door. The main shopping area is around The Point shopping mall and Bisazza Street. Many hotels and apartments are in tall buildings along the front. The town is lively all year, with winter visitors and language students, and the promenade is busiest in the evenings.
Public transport: The official airport page lists express lines X1-X4. Otherwise take the X4 to Valletta and change for Sliema.
