Getting from Paros Airport (PAS) to Alyki takes about 10 min by car on an empty road (10–20 min in heavy traffic) over 4 km. Our private transfer costs €50 for a car with 1–3 passengers or €70 for a van with 4–8 — the vehicle price you see is the price you pay at booking.
On arrival: The driver waits in the arrivals hall of the Paros airport terminal, after baggage reclaim, holding a sign with your name. If the flight is late, the driver adjusts to the real landing time; 60 minutes of waiting are included and help with the luggage is part of the service.
Alyki, also written Aliki, is the nearest village to the airport, a fishing settlement on the south-west coast of Paros. The terminal and runway are just to its north-west, so the drive is short, only a couple of kilometres on the local coastal road, and takes about five minutes. It is a quiet place compared with Parikia or Naousa, and even in August the road into the village rarely sees more than light traffic, apart from the occasional delivery van in the narrow centre.
The village is built around a small sheltered harbour with a chapel of Agios Nikolaos on the waterfront and a row of fish tavernas facing the boats. Its sandy main beach runs right in front of the houses, and quieter coves such as Piso Alyki and Faragas lie a short drive to the east. Accommodation is mostly small hotels and rooms within a few minutes' walk of the harbour. The Scorpios Museum, showing models of Cycladic life, is near the village. Cars can reach the harbour road, where passengers can be set down.
Public transport: The official KTEL Paros timetable lists Parikia - Aliki and Parikia - Airport services but no separate airport - Aliki trip; Aliki is only a short distance from the terminal.
