Vienna → city centre · about 22 km · about 30 min · fixed price €65 per vehicle.
Price calculated. Change the date or destination if you like.
A private transfer from Vienna Airport (VIE) to Vienna city centre costs €65 per car for 1–3 passengers and €85 per van for 4–8. It is a fixed price for the whole vehicle, the same amount you pay when you book. The road distance is 22 km via A4; the drive takes about 30 min with clear roads, so plan on 30–40 min at busy times.
Where the driver waits: The driver waits in the arrivals hall of the terminal your flight lands at (Terminal 1, 2 or 3), after baggage reclaim and the customs exit, holding a sign with your name. We track your flight and the first 60 minutes after landing are free; the driver helps with your luggage.
Vienna airport is at Schwechat, about 18 km south-east of the centre, linked by the A4 East motorway and the B9. The drive takes 25 to 35 minutes and ends near the Ring. Morning rush hour on the A4 is slow, and the First District (Innere Stadt) has restricted traffic and many pedestrian streets, so the car stops at the nearest open street close to the hotel. Events on the Ring can close some stretches for a few hours.
The historic centre of Vienna is enclosed by the Ringstrasse with the Opera, the Hofburg and the Parliament along it. St Stephen's Cathedral stands in the middle, with the pedestrian streets Graben and Kärntner Strasse running from it. The Naschmarkt and the Museum Quarter lie just outside the Ring. Wien Mitte and Wien Hauptbahnhof are the main stations. Hotels are inside the Ring and in the neighbouring districts. The car stops at the Ring or the nearest street open to traffic.
Public transport instead: City Airport Train (CAT) train CAT from Flughafen Wien to Wien Mitte — about 16 min, €14.90 single ticket, every 30 minutes. ÖBB train S7 from Flughafen Wien to Wien Mitte — about 25 min, about every 30 minutes.
