On arrival: The driver waits in the arrivals hall of the airport terminal, after baggage reclaim and the customs exit, holding a sign with your name. If the flight is late, the driver adjusts to the real landing time; 60 minutes of waiting are included and help with the luggage is part of the service.
Biograd na Moru is a resort and marina town on the coast south-east of Zadar, about 25 km from the airport. The drive takes about 25 minutes via the D8 coastal road or the A1 junction at Benkovac. The town was the medieval capital of the Croatian kings. The roads are two lanes and the traffic is moderate, though the access to the marina is busy in July and August.
Biograd has a large marina, a seafront promenade and an old centre with narrow streets. The island of Pašman and the Kornati islands are reached by boat or ferry from Biograd and Pakoštane. The Vrana Lake nature park lies inland. Hotels and campsites are along the coast to the north and south of the centre. The promenade is pedestrian, so the car stops at the edge and the hotels have their own entrances.
Public transport: No direct public service from the airport.
