Pickup: EuroAirport has one terminal divided into a Swiss sector and a French sector. The booking includes flight monitoring and an hour of free waiting from touchdown; your bags are loaded for you.
Mulhouse is the largest city of southern Alsace, about 28 km north-west of the airport. From the French sector the road joins the A35 motorway at Saint-Louis and runs north across the Alsace plain to the outskirts of the Mulhouse conurbation, a drive of roughly 25 to 30 minutes. There is no toll on this stretch. Morning and evening peaks bring slow traffic on the A35 and A36 interchange around the city, where many cross-border commuters travel.
The centre of Mulhouse is grouped around Place de la Réunion, with the painted former town hall and the Protestant church of Saint-Étienne, and the surrounding streets are largely pedestrian. The main railway station is a short walk south of the centre, beside the Rhône-Rhine canal. Two large museums lie outside the core: the Cité de l'Automobile, home to a national car collection, in the north-west of the city, and the Cité du Train railway museum in the west, both easy to reach by road.
Public transport instead: Distribus bus 11 from EuroAirport, terminal forecourt (Arrivals Zone, French sector) to Saint-Louis SNCF station — about 10–15 min, €3.00 single ticket, every 15 to 30 min, 05:00 to midnight (3 EUR ticket by SMS). TER Grand Est (SNCF) train Basel - Mulhouse - Strasbourg from Saint-Louis SNCF station to Mulhouse station, every 30 min. No direct public service from the airport; take Distribus bus 11 from the French sector to Saint-Louis station, then a direct TER Grand Est train to Mulhouse (one change).
