Price calculated. Change the date or destination if you like.
Howth from Dublin Airport (DUB) by private transfer: €75 per car (1–3 people) or €110 per van (4–8), fixed per vehicle and identical to the checkout price. On the road it is 22 km via R108 and R139, roughly 30 min when traffic is light and 30–40 min when it is not.
Meeting point: The driver waits in the arrivals hall of Terminal 1 or Terminal 2, whichever your flight lands at, after baggage reclaim and the customs exit, holding a sign with your name. Flight tracking is included, the first hour after landing is free waiting time, and the driver carries your bags to the car.
Howth is a fishing village at the tip of the Howth peninsula, on the north side of Dublin Bay. From the airport the road heads east through the northern suburbs to the coast at Sutton, where the narrow isthmus joins the peninsula, and then follows the shore road into the village, around 17 km in total and without tolls. On sunny weekends and bank holidays the road along the isthmus and the harbour front fill with day visitors, and parking near the piers becomes scarce.
The village is built around a busy harbour with two long piers. The West Pier is lined with fish shops and seafood restaurants, while the East Pier ends at a small lighthouse with views to Ireland's Eye. The Howth Cliff Path loop starts above the harbour and runs around the headland towards the Baily Lighthouse and Howth Summit. The DART station sits opposite the harbour, and hotels and guesthouses are spread along the seafront and the roads climbing the hill, most of them reachable by car.
Public transport instead: Go-Ahead Ireland (TFI) bus 102 (Dublin Airport - Sutton DART via Swords) from Dublin Airport TFI bus zones to Malahide Station and Sutton Station (DART). Iarnród Éireann (DART) train DART Howth branch from Sutton Station to Howth Station, 1 change. No direct public transport from the airport to Howth: bus 102 runs to Sutton Station, where the DART continues one stop to Howth, opposite the harbour.
