Dubrovnik → city centre · about 21 km · about 35 min · fixed price €50 per vehicle.
Price calculated. Change the date or destination if you like.
A private transfer from Dubrovnik Airport (DBV) to Dubrovnik city centre costs €50 per car for 1–3 passengers and €65 per van for 4–8. It is a fixed price for the whole vehicle, the same amount you pay when you book. The road distance is 21 km via D8; the drive takes about 35 min with clear roads, so plan on 35–45 min at busy times.
Where the driver waits: The driver waits in the arrivals hall of the airport terminal, after baggage reclaim and the customs exit, holding a sign with your name. We track your flight and the first 60 minutes after landing are free; the driver helps with your luggage.
Dubrovnik airport sits at Čilipi, about 20 km south-east of the city, reached by the Jadranska Magistrala (D8) along the coast with views over the Elaphiti islands. The road is single carriageway and slow in summer. Pile Gate and the old town walls are closed to private traffic, so the driver stops at the nearest permitted spot, often by the Ploče or Pile roads. Cruise-ship arrivals in the morning increase the crowds around the walls.
The old town is a walled pedestrian area with Stradun as the main street, running from Pile Gate to the old port. Hotels sit both inside the walls and in the Lapad peninsula and Ploče area, each a few kilometres away. Lapad has the main hotel strip and beaches, while Ploče is the closest beach area east of the old port. The cable car to Srđ hill starts just above the old town. Streets inside the walls are stepped and too narrow for luggage trolleys in some places.
