Price calculated. Change the date or destination if you like.
Bonifacio from Figari (Corsica) Airport (FSC) by private transfer: €95 per car (1–3 people) or €140 per van (4–8), fixed per vehicle and identical to the checkout price. On the road it is 22 km via T 40, roughly 25 min when traffic is light and 25–35 min when it is not.
Meeting point: The driver waits in the arrivals hall of the Figari Sud Corse terminal, after the baggage reclaim exit, holding a sign with your name. Flight tracking is included, the first hour after landing is free waiting time, and the driver carries your bags to the car.
Bonifacio is the southernmost town of Corsica, built on white limestone cliffs above the Strait of Bonifacio, with Sardinia visible on the horizon. From the airport the drive is short: the D322 and a few kilomètres of the D859 lead to the T40, the main road of the south, which runs down through the maquis to the head of the Bonifacio inlet. In summer, cars queue at the entrance to the town and around the port, and parking in the centre is scarce.
The town has two levels. The marina lies at the bottom of a long, narrow inlet, lined with quays, restaurants and the departure points of boat trips to the cliffs and the Lavezzi islands; the ferry terminal with crossings to Santa Teresa Gallura in Sardinia is also on the inlet. The upper town sits inside the citadel on top of the cliff, reached by a steep road and by stairs from the port. Its streets are narrow with restricted vehicle access, so the driver stops at the nearest permitted point. The King of Aragon's Stairway is cut into the cliff below the citadel.
Public transport instead: Communaute de Communes du Sud Corse, then a regional coach line from Porto-Vecchio bus airport shuttle + Porto-Vecchio - Bonifacio from Aeroport Figari Sud Corse to Bonifacio (change at Porto-Vecchio gare routiere), 1 change. There is no direct public bus from Figari airport to Bonifacio; the airport shuttles run only to Porto-Vecchio, where regional coaches leave for Bonifacio.
