Split → city centre · about 24 km · about 30 min · fixed price €50 per vehicle.
Price calculated. Change the date or destination if you like.
A private transfer from Split Airport (SPU) to Split city centre costs €50 per car for 1–3 passengers and €65 per van for 4–8. It is a fixed price for the whole vehicle, the same amount you pay when you book. The road distance is 24 km via D8; the drive takes about 30 min with clear roads, so plan on 30–40 min at busy times.
Where the driver waits: The driver waits in the arrivals hall of the airport terminal, after baggage reclaim and the customs exit, holding a sign with your name. We track your flight and the first 60 minutes after landing are free; the driver helps with your luggage.
Split airport is at Kaštela, about 25 km north-west of the city centre, and the drive takes 25 to 35 minutes via the D8 coastal road or the A1 motorway. The coastal road is slow in summer, with traffic through Kaštela and Solin. The area around Diocletian's Palace is a pedestrian zone, so the car stops at the edge, at the Riva waterfront or the port. The ferry port to the islands is next to the bus station.
The centre of Split is the Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with the Peristyle square and the Cathedral of St Domnius inside the walls. The Riva promenade runs along the harbour in front of the palace, and the Pazar market is next to the east wall. Hotels are inside the palace, along the Riva, and in the Bačvice and Marjan areas. The palace lanes are narrow and pedestrian, so luggage is carried by hand the last stretch. The ferry port lies a few minutes' walk from the palace.
