Varna → Varna · about 8 km · about 15 min · fixed price €35 per vehicle.

A private transfer from Varna Airport (VAR) to Varna costs €35 per car for 1–3 passengers and €50 per van for 4–8. It is a fixed price for the whole vehicle, the same amount you pay when you book. The road distance is 8 km via 2; the drive takes about 15 min with clear roads, so plan on 15–25 min at busy times.
Where the driver waits: The driver waits in the arrivals area of Terminal 2 at Varna Airport, after immigration, baggage reclaim and the exit to the public hall, holding a sign with your name. We track your flight and the first 60 minutes after landing are free; the driver helps with your luggage.
Varna is Bulgaria's main port on the Black Sea and the third-largest city in the country. The airport lies west of the city, beside the junction of the Hemus motorway, and the drive into the centre is about 8.5 km. The road runs east along the wide Vladislav Varnenchik Boulevard, past the shopping centres of the western districts and the central bus station, before reaching the old centre near the cathedral. There are no tolls on this route. At weekday rush hours the boulevard is busy and the last kilometre into the centre can be slow.
The heart of Varna is the area between the Cathedral of the Dormition and the sea. From the cathedral the pedestrian Knyaz Boris I Boulevard leads to Nezavisimost Square with the Varna Opera, and further on to the Sea Garden, a long park above the city beaches. The Roman Thermae and the old Greek quarter lie a few streets south, and the Archaeological Museum, known for the Varna gold treasure, is close to the cathedral. Cars cannot enter the pedestrian streets, so drop-offs are made on the surrounding boulevards or directly at hotel entrances outside the pedestrian zone.
Public transport instead: Varna city public transport bus 409 from Varna Airport (stop in front of Terminal 2 Arrivals) to Katedralata (Cathedral) stop, Varna centre — about 19–20 min, the airport states the wait should not exceed 15 minutes; ticket bought on board.
