Zakynthos → city centre · about 5 km · about 10 min · fixed price €30 per vehicle.
Price calculated. Change the date or destination if you like.
A private transfer from Zakynthos Airport (ZTH) to Zakynthos city centre costs €30 per car for 1–3 passengers and €35 per van for 4–8. It is a fixed price for the whole vehicle, the same amount you pay when you book. The road distance is 5 km; the drive takes about 10 min with clear roads, so plan on 10–20 min at busy times.
Where the driver waits: The driver waits in the arrivals hall of the airport terminal, after baggage reclaim and the customs exit, holding a sign with your name. We track your flight and the first 60 minutes after landing are free; the driver helps with your luggage.
Zakynthos airport is about 5 km south-west of Zakynthos Town, so the drive takes 10 to 15 minutes via the airport road and the seafront. The town was rebuilt after the 1953 earthquake and has wide streets, a long waterfront and Solomos Square. Parking near the port is limited in summer, and the harbour road is the usual drop-off point. Ferries to Kyllini leave from the port.
Zakynthos Town is centred on Solomos Square, the Agios Dionysios church and the waterfront promenade. The Byzantine Museum is on the square, and the Venetian castle on the hill of Bochali above the town has views over the harbour. Hotels are along the town waterfront and nearby, and the main shopping street Alexandrou Roma is partly pedestrian. The car can drop at the harbour road or Solomos Square. The ferry to Kyllini on the mainland leaves from the same harbour.
Public transport: The airport is only about 5 km from the town.
