A private transfer from Zaragoza Airport (ZAZ) to Zaragoza costs €60 per car for 1–3 passengers and €85 per van for 4–8. It is a fixed price for the whole vehicle, the same amount you pay when you book. The road distance is 20 km via N-125; the drive takes about 30 min with clear roads, so plan on 30–40 min at busy times.
Where the driver waits: The driver waits in the arrivals hall of the passenger terminal at Zaragoza Airport, after you collect your baggage, holding a sign with your name. We track your flight and the first 60 minutes after landing are free; the driver helps with your luggage.
Zaragoza Airport lies on the western edge of the municipality, beside the district of Garrapinillos and the air base that shares its runways. The drive into the city is about 20 km: the road from the terminal joins the Z-40 ring road or Vía Hispanidad, then continues through the Delicias area towards the Ebro. The historic centre around Plaza del Pilar is largely pedestrian, and the narrow lanes of El Tubo are closed to through traffic, so drop-offs there are made at the nearest street open to cars.
Most visitors head for the Casco Histórico, between the Ebro and Paseo de la Independencia. Plaza del Pilar stretches for several hundred metres from the Basílica del Pilar to La Seo cathedral, with the Puente de Piedra crossing the river beside it. The Aljafería palace stands a short walk west of the old town, and Zaragoza-Delicias, the high-speed rail and coach station, is a little further out in the same direction. Plaza de España and Paseo de la Independencia form the commercial heart, with many hotels in the surrounding streets.
Public transport instead: Consorcio de Transportes del Área de Zaragoza (CTAZ) bus 505 Zaragoza - Aeropuerto from Zaragoza Airport terminal to Zaragoza-Delicias intermodal station (Arrivals area) and Paseo María Agustín (city centre), timetable based on the airport's flight schedule.
