Palmeraie from Marrakech Airport (RAK) by private transfer: €25 per car (1–3 people) or €35 per van (4–8), fixed per vehicle and identical to the checkout price. On the road it is 14 km, roughly 20 min when traffic is light and 20–30 min when it is not.
Meeting point: The driver waits in the public arrivals area of the terminal your flight lands at, just after passport control, baggage reclaim and customs, holding a sign with your name. Flight tracking is included, the first hour after landing is free waiting time, and the driver carries your bags to the car.
The Palmeraie is a large palm grove on the northern edge of Marrakech, where villas, resort hotels and golf courses are spread among thousands of date palms. From the airport the route crosses the city: it follows Avenue Guemassa (RR212) north, skirts the western side of the medina walls along the city boulevards, and continues on Avenue du 11 Janvier, part of the national roads RN8 and RN9, before turning onto the Circuit de la Palmeraie. The distance is about 14 km, and the city section is busiest at rush hour.
The Circuit de la Palmeraie is a loop road through the grove, and most hotels and villas have their own gated entrance from it or from the side lanes, so cars can drive right up to reception. The area is quiet and low-rise, with large gardens, swimming pools and several golf courses; camel rides and quad excursions start from points along the circuit. The medina and Jemaa el-Fna are roughly 6 to 10 km to the south, depending on the hotel, and the road to Fes and the road to Casablanca border the grove.
Public transport: No direct public transport from the airport to the Palmeraie: the airport shuttle bus listed by ONDA serves the city centre only.
