Each extra person tapped in on the same card pays less: €7.45, €6.75, €6.10 and €5.40 for the second to fifth. Tap in for every traveller when you board and tap out once for the group when you get off; if you forget to tap out, TIB charges a €0.30 penalty per person. A single ticket bought from the driver costs €13.50, cash only, with notes up to €20.
Taxis wait at the signed rank on the ground floor of the terminal, at arrivals. The fare is metered. By road it is 61 km, about 46 minutes without traffic, on the Ma-13 motorway past Inca. Traffic is heavier on summer weekends. The walled old town of Alcúdia has restricted vehicle access, so cars stop at the gates or go straight to hotels in the port area.

One or two travellers with modest bags: the A32 bus, at €8.10 each by bank card and no change on the way. Landing after the last bus at 00:05, or in winter when the timetable is thinner: a taxi or a pre-booked car. For four adults the bus costs €28.40 on one bank card, so a private transfer is worth comparing, especially with small children, car seats or several suitcases. For a group of four to eight, one van at €180 in total usually works out simpler, and it drops each party at its own hotel door.
